Pallet Racking
Pallet racking is a material handling storage system used to store items on pallets. The pallets are stored in horizontal rows and on multiple vertical levels. Warehouse storage on pallet racks efficiently uses otherwise wasted available vertical space and improves over-all organization in a warehouse. To access the palletized materials, forklift trucks are used to load and unload the materials on and off of the rack shelves, increasing warehouse efficiency and saving stock picking time.
Pallet racking is available in many different styles and capacities to fit the needs of a warehouse. We can offer our expertise with different options and help you choose what best fits your needs.
Light Duty Shelving
Light Duty shelving is versatile, strong and fast to assemble. It provides easy access, stability, and up to 1,850 lbs. capacity per shelf level. It is constructed from a solid steel frame and uses decking (typically 5/8″ particle board, but also wire decks, plywood or solid steel) to hold the load. It’s used in industrial, warehousing, and storage room applications.
Fencing and Wire Partitions
Deter theft, protect machinery and employees, or quarantine products with a caged holding area created by a chain link fence.
These interior spaces are perfect for containment in a specific area. Chain link will provide the necessary protection, and is available in custom heights so you can build your cage up to the ceiling if required.
Steel Caging
Unlike chain link fence or other alternatives, wire partitions are fully framed wire mesh panels that bolt together section by section.
Using our wire partition panels, you may construct a secure cage with industrial grade strength and ceilings from the same modular sized panels. The partition panels may be stacked to your desired wall height, and the panels easily bolt to posts. A full line of hinged, double hinged, and sliding doors are available for use, and the open but secure design allows free circulation of light, HVAC, and fire suppression systems throughout the secured areas.
Design and Engineering
Let our design team do the hard work for you! Customers are the first priority for Rack City's experienced Engineering and Estimating teams. With an average tenure of over 10 years with the company, Rack City engineers and estimators are experts at designing the most appropriate pallet rack system to accomplish what each and every customer needs to efficiently and effectively manage their pallet rack storage (all within budget). Armed with superior AutoCAD skills, in conjunction with an integrated bill of material and manufacturing system, the engineering team allows for multiple refinements to a customer’s plans without affecting a tight deadline. We are also well versed in pulling permits and can accomplish this task for you. With familiarity of local codes and established relationships with city development services, our goal is to have an approved permit for your system in an efficient and timely manner.
